James Edwin Woodland

James Edwin Woodland is a lifelong resident of Tappahannock, Virginia, whose career has been built around hard work, entrepreneurship, construction, and a commitment to providing affordable housing.

Born and raised in Tappahannock, James attended Essex County Public Schools and completed his high school education locally. Rather than following a traditional college path, he built his career through hands-on experience, developing the skills and knowledge that would eventually allow him to become a business owner and entrepreneur.

Today, at 45 years old, James has more than 20 years of experience in his trade. He is the owner of two companies: Woodland Construction and Landscape and Countryside Home Solutions, his modular home dealership.

Through Woodland Construction and Landscape, James has spent decades developing practical experience in construction, site work, landscaping, and related services. His years in the field have given him an understanding not only of how homes and properties are developed, but also of the challenges ordinary families face when trying to build or purchase a home.

That experience helped lead James into the modular housing business and the establishment of Countryside Home Solutions. His goal is straightforward: to provide affordable, turnkey housing to American families. Rather than simply selling a house, his vision is to make the entire process easier for customers by bringing together the home, site preparation, construction, and other elements necessary to create a finished place to live.

Customer satisfaction is an important part of that philosophy. Countryside Home Solutions is already beginning to establish its reputation, currently holding two five-star Google reviews.

James's story is still being written. From growing up and attending public school in a small Virginia community to accumulating more than two decades of experience in his trade and becoming the owner of two companies, his career reflects a willingness to work, learn through experience, take risks, and build something of his own.

As he continues expanding Woodland Construction and Landscape and Countryside Home Solutions, James remains focused on a larger objective: using the experience he has gained over more than 20 years to help make quality, turnkey housing more attainable for hardworking American families.
